Let me start by saying this is not an ad whatsoever. It could be, though, Pelton. *Winks* I’m here to declare my absolute love for Peloton’s Outdoor Walks on the Peloton App.
I figured now is the right time to do so since I’ve used this consistently since January 2024, so I am a true testimony. I’ve had a Peloton Bike since early 2023 but dived into the app near the end of 2023. My one goal for 2024 was to be more active, even if that meant simply walking outside for only a few minutes.
Robin Arzon once explained her 10-Minute rule in a class, and it hasn’t left my head since then:
10 MINUTE RULE. ⏱ On days when I’m just not feeling it (yes, I have those too), I tell myself, just 10 minutes, and allow myself to stop if I truly need to. I did this a lot when I experienced fatigue during my first trimester, and guess what? Oftentimes, once I got moving, I’d stick with it and finish the workout.

Sigh, she’s so real for that.
So, since I’ve heard that rule, I’ve been trying to sprinkle 10 minutes (or more) whenever I can. This includes walking outside in the fresh air.
As someone who hates running, I needed this alternative. Okay, hate is a strong word, but running isn’t my go-to jam. I don’t mind it on the treadmill, but running on a track or trail doesn’t lift my spirits as it does for others. So, believe me when I say how surprised I was to discover these Guided Peloton Walks in the Peloton App.
These audio-guided walks last 15, 20, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. You simply plug headphones in and forget everything else. Not to mention, the playlists and the instructor’s advice are all highly entertaining.
There is ONE small catch, though: You have to do some fast walking.
Now, this isn’t rushing for your life but simply a faster speed than your regular, leisurely stride. It’s not a huge deal, but it does make you break a slight sweat.
Since I posted about the Outdoor Peloton Walks on my Story, some friends have asked what this is and said they didn’t know these walks existed.
Yes, friends. They do, and they’re entertaining. It’s like a hot-girl walk but amplified a little.
